Glenn was born in 1963 in Standish Maine. He attended high school in Sandwich Massachusetts on Cape Cod and it was during these years that he was introduced to  owning and operating a small business (antiques) by Gene Freeman, a mentor and friend. 

Glenn earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Gordon College in Wenham Massachusetts and a MBA in Management of Information Systems and Finance from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

For over 20 years, Glenn served as President & CEO at MicroData Group, Inc., a IT infrastructure support and consulting company based in Beverly Massachusetts. MicroData was acquired by R3 LLC in 2022. In 2010, Glenn also founded 3rd Millennium Audio - a company devoted to designing and manufacturing loudspeakers for the Mazda Miata. 

Glenn also taught for 18 years as a Lecturer in Business Administration at Boston's Northeastern University.

Glenn writes and speaks about starting a small business, entrepreneurship, leadership, car audio design, and  marketing.

Glenn is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, president of the Commander Owners Group, a licensed Private Pilot, a licensed radiotelephone operator, a long-time scuba diver, and an avid do-it-yourselfer. He lives north of Boston with his wife Heather and two cats, Hershey and Mr. Blue.
